It is reported that the new version used Zig to build oksolc because it did not want to wait for the 10-minute Solidity compilation process. While maintaining the same generated bytecode, the compilation speed of some contracts increased by more than 5 times. The build time was shortened from 10 minutes to 2 minutes, and the incremental compilation time of large projects was reduced from 700 seconds to 99 seconds.
