Near Intents recovers $3.8 million in stolen funds, terminates investigation

Odaily Planet Daily News Cross-chain exchange service Near Intents stated that the US$3.8 million in funds stolen in previous vulnerability attacks has been fully returned and the team has stopped investigating. Near Intents general manager Alex Shevchenko previously issued a 48-hour payback period to the attackers and provided Bitcoin, BNB, Ethereum and Solana addresses.

The attacker acknowledged misconduct in an on-chain message, said all funds had been returned, and called on others to report the issue through a bug bounty program. The incident stemmed from vulnerabilities in the interaction between its Omni deposit and withdrawal layer and the main smart contract. Near Intents had suspended its services and promised to fully compensate users. (Decrypt)
