PANews a rapporté le 2 octobre que, selon CoinDesk, l'USDT de Tether reviendrait sur le réseau Bitcoin ce mois-ci et serait émis via Utexo, un projet d'infrastructure soutenu par Tether. Avec une valeur marchande de près de 190 milliards de dollars, l'USDT est le plus grand stablecoin au monde. Il est né à l’origine sur le protocole Bitcoin Omni en 2014. Depuis, Ethereum et Tron sont devenus ses principaux réseaux d’émission. Le PDG de Tether, Paolo Ardoino, a déclaré sur X la semaine dernière que « ça rentre à la maison ». Fondée en 2025, Utexo a levé 7,5 millions de dollars de financement plus tôt cette année, sous la direction de Tether, et a obtenu une licence commerciale pour émettre de l'USDT sur Bitcoin.
Utexo, soutenu par Tether, prévoit d'émettre des USDT sur le réseau Bitcoin ce mois-ci, prenant en charge les transferts privés et l'échange direct de BTC.
