Pump.fun opens the feature to pair new coins with tokens already issued on the platform; buys will route through the original token's liquidity pool.

Foresight News reports that Pump.fun tweeted that it has enabled new coins to be paired with tokens already issued on the platform. All buys of new coins will go through the original coin's liquidity pool, bringing buy pressure and deeper liquidity to the original community.

Eligible pairing targets include tokens still in the bonding curve phase, tokens that have migrated to PumpSwap, and whitelisted tokens. Tokens that have migrated to Raydium are not eligible unless they are added to the whitelist (such as Fartcoin). In addition, multi-hop fees are no longer stacked; holder rewards, creator fees, and LP fees are only charged on the last hop of a buy and the first hop of a sell. Protocol fees are only charged on the first hop of a buy and the last hop of a sell. Pairing depth is currently limited to one level and cannot be changed after launch.
