Odaily's Bitcoin News posted on the X platform that Lightspark has released a prototype of dotMoney that allows users to share links, .money files, or send test funds directly between nearby iPhones. Documents can be sent via AirDrop, instant messaging app, or stored in a USB flash drive; the underlying funds are transferred between wallets via Spark. Each document can only be claimed once, no duplicate funds will be generated by copying or forwarding, and the sender can also cancel the unclaimed payment. Currently, the prototype uses non-monetary test funds, and Lightspark also tests banking, Cash App, and Lightning withdrawal capabilities through Grid.
