Ripple and XRPL Foundation jointly launch XRP Asia

According to ChainCatcher news, Ripple and the XRP Ledger Foundation have jointly established a new organization, XRP Asia, headquartered in Singapore, focusing on ecological development in the Asia-Pacific region. The organization is led by Sabrina Tachdjian, who previously led Hedera Foundation’s Asia-Pacific and fintech and payments businesses and led LINE’s blockchain investments.

XRP Asia will provide developers and start-up teams with learning resources, system integrator cooperation programs, hackathons, office hours and product implementation guidance. Market expansion support includes introduction of partners, docking of incubation and funding projects, dissemination of founders’ stories, and introductions to relevant investors.

The organization will rely on two existing communities, XRPL Korea and XRPL Japan, and assist in establishing new communities in major cities and development hubs in Asia. Officials stated that Asia has long been an important region for XRP Ledger, with active digital asset markets, developers and XRP communities.
