PANews reported on October 3 that Ozzy, the founder of PONS, responded to the community’s doubts about the repurchase and destruction mechanism. Ozzy said that the project has now automated the repurchase and destruction operations, and any user can trigger the robot and receive a small amount of rewards. In response to previous doubts about the rate of fund collection and repurchase, the team has upgraded the contract and set the fund collection cycle to once every 7 days, followed by cyclic repurchase and destruction within the next 7 days. The repurchase rate is currently set to 2e per hour to match the fund size of approximately $950,000 in Splitter (fund diversion contract). Future repurchase funds will be divided into two parts: Active Buyback Vault currently executing repurchases, and repurchase funds reserved for the next cycle. Ozzy has apologized to the community for the misunderstanding in previous communications and has been recognized by users.
