PANews reported on October 2 that Lido announced that EarnUSD will update the fee model, reduce fixed fees, increase flexibility, and directly link fees to the performance of the vault. Previously, EarnUSD fees were biased toward the platform side, which was 1% management fee + 10% performance fee; the new model is more performance-oriented, with an upper limit of 0.5% management fee + 20% performance fee, and the fee was set at 0.2% management fee + 15% performance fee when it went online. Lido said that reducing the management fee from 1% to 0.2% can reduce the cost of holding EarnUSD when returns are low, and increasing the performance fee will make the fee more linked to actual returns. The fees will be displayed transparently on the EarnUSD treasury interface.
