Wu Shuo learned that the Zcash expansion project Project Tachyon announced the release of a new Rust component Udon (zakura-udon) and began to integrate Tachyon's recursive proof technology into the Zakura Common encryption technology stack. Udon will reuse Common’s optimized cryptography code to provide underlying support for Tachyon’s subsequent recursive proof and privacy payment expansion. Zakura’s long-term goal is to achieve approximately 50,000 TPS-level payment processing capabilities. It should be noted that Tachyon is still a proposed Zcash upgrade and has not yet been activated on the mainnet. Subsequent testing and community approval are still required.
