According to ChainCatcher news, the SEC recently disclosed the public comment letter submitted by Stove Finance regarding exemptions related to tokenized stocks.
The opinion letter focuses on infrastructure issues after tokenized stocks enter the on-chain market, including asset conversion, inventory replenishment, reconciliation between traditional securities systems and on-chain ledgers, as well as how corporate actions such as dividends and stock splits are consistent across different systems.
Stove suggested in his opinion that registered brokers be allowed to further participate in the construction of on-chain securities recording, reconciliation and delivery infrastructure, and that brokers, custodians, transfer agents, on-chain trading venues, etc. jointly establish unified standards for asset conversion, settlement status and corporate actions.
As tokenized stocks gradually enter DeFi scenarios such as AMM and liquidity pools, settlement, asset services and cross-system interoperability beyond trading are becoming issues that need to be solved in the next stage of the industry.
