CoinDesk: Gate Derivatives Trading Volume Surpasses Bybit to Rank Third, Leading Global Growth

PANews October 13 news: According to CoinDesk's newly released September Exchange Review, Gate's derivatives trading volume for the month reached $396.4 billion, up 38.2% month-over-month, surpassing Bybit to rank among the global top three, behind only Binance and OKX. At the same time, in derivatives, Gate's derivatives market share rose by about 1.6 percentage points to 10.1%, making it the platform with the largest share increase among the world's top exchanges. In the RWA perpetual contracts sector, Gate also firmly ranked among the global top three with a 9.1% share. Gate's average daily trading volume in September reached about $15 billion, and it received a Grade A rating in the CoinDesk Data Exchange Benchmark, maintaining its comprehensive competitiveness among the global leaders.

Along with the growth in trading scale, Gate is accelerating the expansion of product innovation and scenario integration. In September, Gate launched the world's first stock event contracts, with the first batch covering underlying assets such as MU, SKHYNIX, and Unitree Robotics, supporting 5-minute and 15-minute short-cycle bullish or bearish trades, with no leverage or margin required. In addition, Gate released the integrated financial app Gate Money, allowing users to open independent bank electronic accounts and enabling fund receipts and payments, exchange, and daily payments for assets such as stocks. In terms of payment layout, Gate partnered with Visa to launch the crypto-linked card Gate Card, and also launched the on-chain trading tool Da Jin Gou. With a strong trading foundation and rapidly expanding product matrix, Gate is accelerating the deep integration of digital assets, traditional finance, and daily payments.
